Tradition
the oenological thunder word
The tradition. It sticks to wine with heavy meaning. Usually as a bottle-filling imperative: "Committed to tradition!" Uff ... Looking for a stop in existentialist being thrown out? Expression of reactionary identity? Glue rod to satisfy customer desires? Or just parroted advertising kitsch? Aphorisms and metaphors on the subject of tradition fill entire wine libraries. And no description of the vintner without corresponding categorization.
And we? Are we traditionalists? Are we revolutionaries? Are we old-fashioned, modern, provocative, innovative, attached to our homeland, anachronistic ... Attributions of the most varied kinds have accompanied us since our winery was founded.
We experience ourselves as healthy and as alive and have no problem if someone focuses on one or the other aspect of Heymann-Löwenstein.
